Your views on finance

I bet if you put all life insurance companies in a row, you would have at least 6 whole states combined. Now if you would put all life insurances of just one company, like for instance just one State Farm, and like Gerber, I bet it would form 2 states.

I just know every time you watch TV you see a commercial for life insurance. I have noticed they do not push car insurance, as much as the life insurance companies do. That surprises me, being in most states, car insurance is required to drive a car.

I get a lot of mailings that I consider junk mail talking about all different kinds of life insurance companies. Some days I will have 4 or 5 pieces of mail, and I just find the nearest trash can.

I have never gone to an agent to get any rates on life insurance, but I have gotten rates on liability insurance. The only reason is because my car is not worth getting full coverage on it. That kind of insurance would cost me more than what my whole car is worth. As I sit here talking about a car, it would be nice if these life insurance companies would offer this type of coverage on cars or houses.

That would be a great invention if someone could invent life insurance for a car or a house. Maybe that is why they offer full coverage insurance on a car. I guess the one thing about life insurance companies, they do offer something of importance and it is needed, but some people just can’t afford it.

Being I work away from home and travel about 50 miles a day round trip, my agent thought it would be best to get a life insurance policy. I remember him spending 4 hours with me, explaining this policy, and what policy would be best for me.

I was so thankful he took the time to explain things to me, because I was talking to my neighbor and she said her agent just gave her a bunch of reading material, and by the time she got done reading it, she did not understand what she read. I am like that also, and sometimes I have to read things 2 or 3 times before I can understand it. After about the 2nd time, I just give up. Now if someone would take the time to explain things to me, I understand a lot better. They always say time is money.
