Initially, my husband and I thought that it would be good if we save our money in the bank until I gave birth to our first child because we thought that our way of saving was not enough. My husband's lifestyle was high risk for cancer and cardiovascular disease because he never exercise and he loved eating high cholesterol food. What if something happened to him? What if he suddenly got sick? What would happen to our baby's future? We then thought that why not have at least the cheapest life insurance for him? I knew that there must be a company that could cater to average income earners like us.We thought that everyone needs to be insured now because of life's adversity. So, I asked my dad about what company he knew that could offer us the cheapest life insurance that we need.

My dad then contacted his friend Beth who was an underwriter of a known insurance company. He set an appointment in a fast food chain near our house so that we could talk.We told Beth that we need the cheapest life insurance for my husband but it should also have a comprehensive benefits in case something dire happened to the policyholder. She then opened her case and brought the laptop on the table. She discussed to us what she could offer eloquently. She told us the scope of the coverage of each life insurance plans and gave us the quote. We told her that we would think the offer over. We asked her telephone number. We told her that we would call her up.

I could tell that we were impressed. We went home thinking what among her offers would fit our budget. You know, we spent thousands on groceries, milk, diapers and baby food.We were thinking where could we fit the life insurance plan.So at home, we talked things over.We calculate what we earned as a couple. We put in a paper the expenses that we had. Then we discussed if we could afford the cheapest life insurance. I again called my dad for some good advice. That was what I was!Always asking dad for any thoughts to help us.

To make the story short, we called Beth again the following week.We again met in the same fastfood chain and over some hamburgers and Coke,my husband signed the policy contract.I knew that it would be worth it.Mayhaps, it was hard in the outset but come what may, it had secured the future of our baby.
